How do I register and log into SOEX? There are three ways to log in:
Create Identity: When creating a new identity, you will receive a new set of mnemonic phrases. After entering the app, go to the avatar in the top left corner, navigate to 【Security Settings】 - 【Backup Mnemonic】, and make sure to copy down your mnemonic phrases.
Import Mnemonic Phrases: This method works the same as with decentralized wallets.
Third-party Wallet Authorization: You can use third-party wallet authorization to log in on both mobile and web. SOEX will provide you with a new set of mnemonic phrases that are linked to your third-party wallet. Note that your SOEX address and your third-party wallet address will be different. You can also go to 【Security Settings】 - 【Backup Mnemonic】 and copy down your mnemonic phrases.
Is there any security risk in establishing an identity, importing mnemonic phrases, or authorizing a third-party wallet login on SOEX? The SOEX account system adopts the same secure methods as decentralized wallets. Whether creating or importing mnemonic phrases, the process is entirely secure. Logging in via third-party wallet authorization involves a signature, which generates a decentralized SOEX account that binds to your third-party wallet without exposing your private key. It is fully secure.
What tasks should new users complete? On the homepage, in the 【SOEX Channel】 section, join the three recommended groups:
【Activities】: The official group for event announcements.
【Announcement】: The official announcement group.
【Feedback】: The group for submitting questions, where customer service will respond online.
Afterward, go to 【Security Settings】 under your avatar in the top left corner and back up your mnemonic phrases. This is extremely important, as losing these phrases is equivalent to losing your account, and they cannot be recovered. Additionally, join the CEX community and authorize the exchange at the top. You can contact activated users to obtain an invitation code.
How can I promote SOEX? Once you’ve completed the connection process, you can start promoting SOEX. Go to the third main page, find 【SOX Airdrop】, and click "Invite Friends" to get your invitation code and copy the link.
Why isn't SOX credited immediately after trading? SOX point airdrops follow a T+1 model, meaning you’ll receive the airdrop on the day following your trade. You can check the details under 【SOX Airdrop】 - 【Available SOX】.
Do I need to deposit assets into the SOEX address for trading? No, you don’t need to deposit any funds into a SOEX address. The platform operates by connecting directly to exchanges.
Is message transmission secure? Yes, it is fully secure. SOEX uses encryption levels similar to decentralized wallets. Private chats are peer-to-peer, meaning only the two participants can decrypt the messages. Third parties, including SOEX relay nodes, cannot access your chat content.
Why does the price fluctuation differ from the exchange? The price fluctuation of trading pairs in SOEX is based on a 24-hour period. It will match if your exchange account is set to the same 24-hour cycle in the "Price Change Period and K-Line Time" settings.
Why are group chat boxes displayed on both the home and community pages? The home page displays real-time messages. If you don’t want to see real-time group messages, you can swipe left to move them back to the community page for less prominent notifications. If you want specific groups from the community to appear in real-time on the home page, swipe left on the group and move it there.
Why is a signature needed? SOEX is a user-controlled social IM, and the signature is used to:
Confirm the authenticity of transactions.
Prevent others from falsely initiating transactions.
Enhance user control. The signature is a publicly verifiable security mechanism. Anyone can verify its authenticity through the user's public key, which enhances the system’s trustworthiness through transparency and openness.
What can SOEX do for me? SOEX is a decentralized social platform built on the Nostr protocol, providing users with a community-based trading experience. You can complete various transactions directly within instant messaging. SOEX also offers services for brands and projects, using user behavior tagging for precise traffic matching. Its overall goal is to lower the barriers to Web3, increase internal community trading volume, and provide better benefits for users and partners.
Is binding 𝕏 safe? How can I do it, and why? Binding 𝕏 is done through user authorization of the official 𝕏 API, which is entirely secure. To bind 𝕏 on SOEX, go to the third interface, just below your avatar, and click on the entrance to bind X. Complete the binding process in the browser. After binding, the friends you interact with on 𝕏 will automatically become your friends on SOEX. 【This feature is not yet enabled】
Why can’t I update directly within SOEX? Some Android devices can only be updated through the app store or APK installation, which may prevent the app from detecting updates automatically. You can download the latest APK from the official website to update without uninstalling the app.
